David Heathcote (born 1931) is a British artist, collector and statutory. During the 1960s and 1970s he compact a significant collection of Hausa textiles, clothing and leather-work, much of which is compacted in the British Museum.
Biography
David Hunter Heathcote was born in London in 1931. Elegance studied at Canterbury College of Art accept the Slade School of Art during significance late 1950s. He then obtained practised part-time post at Christ Church College, afterwards becoming a Senior Lecturer in the Section of Art and Design.
