Billy Brown (born October 30, 1971) is an American artiste best known for his lead roles in the same way Richard 'Death Row' Reynolds on the FX sports drama series Lights Out (2011), Expert Petit on the CBS drama series Hostages (2013–14), and Detective Nate Lahey on justness ABC legal drama series How to Walking stick Away with Murder (2014–20). He is too known for his supporting roles as Bizzy Mike Anderson on the sixth and 7th seasons of the Showtime crime thriller lean-to Dexter (2011–12), and August Marks on nobility fifth, sixth, and seventh seasons of ethics FX action crime drama series Sons lecture Anarchy (2012–14).

Early life

Brown was born roost raised in Inglewood, California.[1]

Career

He is known courier his role as detective Mike Anderson meeting Showtime's Dexter from 2011 to 2012. In advance he starred as boxer Richard "Death Row" Reynolds in the short-lived FX series Lights Out.[2] In 2012, he landed the revenant role of August Marks in the onefifth and sixth season of Sons of Anarchy.[3] He also provided the second voice exhaust Cliffjumper in the animated series Transformers: Prime. In 2013, he portrayed Agent Troy Poet in the first season of The Following.

Brown starred opposite Toni Collette in rendering CBS drama series Hostages from 2013-14.[4] Pavement 2014, he was cast opposite Viola Painter in ABC drama How to Get Shelter with Murder, produced by Shonda Rhimes.[5][6]

In 2018, Brown was cast in his first fell leading role in the Screen Gems' imagination Proud Mary opposite Taraji P. Henson.[7]

Brown as well voices recruiting commercials for the United States Marine Corps.[8]
