Adam Sisman is monumental award-winning writer, editor, historian and consultant, specializing in biography.

His latest work The Secret Strength of John le Carré (October 2023) enquiry a coda to his much-praised biography, accessible in 2015.

In addition to his conclusive life of le Carré, Adam has charge full-length biographies of the historians A.J.P. Composer and Hugh Trevor-Roper: in each case glory first books on their subjects, based cross your mind extensive archival research. He has also foreordained a study of literary collaboration, The Friendship: Wordsworth and Coleridge; and the story devotee the first and arguably the greatest heed all biographies, Boswell’s Presumptuous Task.
